1. Registration fees include attendance to all sessions, certificate of attendance, book of abstracts, lunches, coffee breaks, visit to the Brno guided tour, welcome reception, and gala dinner.

2. Proof of an active PSE membership is needed for reduced registration fees to apply.

3. Proof of MSc / PhD student or early (less than 2 years from PhD defense) postdoctoral fellow status is needed for reduced registration fees to apply. Please send proof of student or postdoctoral status, as applicable, to pse2024@pharm.muni.cz

4. Registration fees include lunches, coffee breaks, a visit to the Brno guided tour, a welcome reception and a gala dinner.


IMPORTANT DATES
• The deadline for abstract submission has been extended; the deadline for the abstract submission is now March 31st, 2024.

• Submitting authors will be advised if their abstract has been accepted by March 31st, 2024.

• The presenting author for each abstract must register to attend the conference no later than March 31st, 2024.

• Abstracts that do not have a registered and paid presenting author by March 31st, 2024, will not be included in the conference program and e-book of abstracts. Please send the abstract in form according to the instructions to pse2024@pharm.muni.cz.

ABSTRACT FORMAT

  • All presentations should be prepared and presented in English
  • Presentations can be presented as oral and/or posters.
  • Only original research will be accepted as papers for the congress, review articles will not be accepted.
  • In order to accept abstract, it is mandatory for the presenting author to register for the congress.
  • Font:Times New Roman 12 pt
  • Spacing:15 spacing, A4 size and with 2.5 cm margins all around.
  • Title:should be 14 points, bold.
  • Limitations:Abstracts should be prepared in English with a maximum of 300 words. (Do not count the title, author names and institutions). Maximal size of abstract is 1 page. Max. 3 references per abstract, ACS style.
  • Author names-surnames should be clear and the first letters should be capitalized. The name of the presenting author should be underlined.
  • Institutions of the authors should be indicated with indices and written in italics.
  • The e-mail address of the presenting author should be specified.

Abstract Template

  • Naming your abstract file (use Microsoft Word)
    • “Oral” and “Poster”
    • Hyphen (-)
    • Last name of First Author

Example: If you (Dr/Mr/Ms. Vomacka) are submitting two abstracts, one for an Oral presentation and another one as a Poster, you should name them: Oral-Vomacka.docx and Poster-Vomacka.docx

 

ORAL PRESENTATIONS

  • For oral presentations, there will be a total time limit of 15 minutes as 10 minutes for presentation and 5 minutes for discussion. Based on the number of presenting scientists, we would like to maximise the number of available slots. However, if we will have free time, we will increase the minutes for each presentation.

 

POSTER PRESENTATIONS

  • Posters should consist of an informative title, introduction, methods, results and discussion with references.
  • Presentation title, author names and addresses should be on the top of the posters.
  • Posters should be prepared in 90 cm (length) × 60 cm (width) in size.
  • Poster owners will personally present their posters on the boards in the poster area during the congress.
